1. Purpose of the Community Survey
Direct civic input into Scottsdale’s elevated transit alignments.
The Monovalley Community Survey exists to directly empower Scottsdale residents, regional commuters, business owners, and visitors to shape the future of elevated transit in the Valley.
Your input provides essential empirical data regarding:
Most congested travel corridors and desired origin/destination pairings;
Ideal station placements along major arterial streets (e.g., Scottsdale Road, Hayden Road, McDowell Road, Frank Lloyd Wright Blvd);
Desired hours of operation, late-night safety requirements, and peak weekend service;
Community willingness to utilize modern, driverless, whisper-quiet electric monorail systems over single-occupancy vehicles.
Direct Civic Impact
Your survey responses are compiled directly into engineering alignment whitepapers and presentations for Scottsdale civic leaders and regional transit planners.
2. Voluntary Participation and Withdrawal
Your participation is voluntary at every stage.
Participation in the Community Survey is entirely voluntary. You may choose not to answer specific non-required questions, and you may abandon the survey at any point prior to submitting.
Once submitted, survey responses are recorded in our secure database. If you wish to have your survey submission purged, you may contact legal@monovalley.co with identifying details (such as your approximate submission time and answers provided) and our team will locate and delete the record.
3. License and Rights in Feedback
Granting Monovalley the right to evaluate, refine, and incorporate suggested routes and ideas.
We welcome original suggestions, route thoughts, station names, and civic improvement ideas. However, to allow Monovalley and municipal partners to freely plan, engineer, and construct transit lines without legal friction or conflicting claims, all respondents agree to the following:
By clicking "Submit Community Survey", you grant Monovalley an irrevocable, perpetual, worldwide, non-exclusive, fully paid-up, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, translate, aggregate, create derivative works from, distribute, and display your feedback, ideas, route suggestions, and comments in any format or medium.
You acknowledge that your feedback is provided without expectation of financial compensation, commercial royalty, employment, or intellectual property attribution, and that Monovalley may incorporate your suggestions into public transit designs, municipal proposals, and patent or planning documentation.
4. Anonymity and Public Presentation
Individual responses are de-identified; only aggregated statistical totals are publicized.
Public Confidence: Community trust is paramount. When survey results are shared in public hearings, whitepapers, press releases, or presentations to the Scottsdale City Council and Valley Metro, data is presented exclusively in aggregated or de-identified format.
Examples of aggregated presentation include statistical breakdowns (e.g., "74% of respondents aged 25-45 indicated they would use late-night weekend monorail service") or thematic summaries of qualitative feedback without respondent names.
We will never sell your survey data or share respondent lists with commercial advertisers.
5. Data Integrity and Verification
Protection against automated manipulation and artificial ballot-stuffing.
To ensure the validity of survey data delivered to municipal authorities, we implement anti-bot verification challenges (such as mathematical confirmation puzzles) and technical telemetry checks.
Submissions originating from automated bots, web crawlers, duplicate spam scripts, or fraudulent proxy networks will be automatically flagged, invalidated, and expunged from the survey dataset.
